I had KVA over for the first time for what I deemed was an emergency: a kitchen light that would not turn off. It was a Saturday night around 930 pm and KVA was one of the first Google results for 24 hour service in Vaughan. Sparky came within an hour as promised and fixed everything without any issue. My basement also had DIY'd electrical work and Sparky came in on another day to clean it all up and give me some peace of mind. He even took the time to show me the issues and did his absolute best to fix everything with as little tear down as possible. He did a great job and we are having him back a third time to check out the DIY'd light fixtures in the basement. Even though we have never had any issues in the six years since we moved in, better safe than sorry and we are glad we have a professional giving us peace of mind. Thanks again KVA.

We recently moved into an older home in the gta, and after a month that we were living here, we experienced a loss of power. When we contacted Toronto Hydro they told us that we needed to call an electrician to resolve the problem as it was something inside of the house.

Not knowing who to turn to we did what every one else does and turned to the internet and started searching for an electrician that would help us with fixing our electrical problem. We where very worried about the problem that we were experiencing and afraid of something drastically happening. We called many companies that offer to come out the same day or emergency service, but only KVA actually responded to our call about 9:55PM, the person that answered our call was very pleasant and understanding of the concerns that we had. He offered to come out right away and within under an hour he arrived at our home.

Within minutes of his arrival he was able to identify the problem and isolate it so that there would be no "Electrical Fire Hazards" as he put it in Electrical terms. He told us that we had aluminum wires in the house and that there was a break or burned connection in one of the switches or plugs in that circuit. He disconnected the circuit from the Panel and made it safe for us, so that we wouldn't experience any other problems.  The home Inspector that we used when we bought the house never mentioned this and never told us that the house had Aluminum Wires! go figure we really got a poor home evaluation by the home Inspector! We made arrangements with KVA to come back and make the necessary repairs to the wiring. We were very pleased to say the least with the service timing expertise and professionalism that their electrician had. We are going to get them to come back in the spring to rewire our home  so that we can avoid any further problems. In the mean time we have got the problem fixed and we will have to save some money so that we can get the house rewired.

We will be recommending them to our friends and family, and we would recommend them to any one that needs an electrician or  anyone that has an electrical problem.

I just moved to a new home in Cobourg and required some urgent electrical repairs to an old house. Your Electrician drove all the way from Toronto, even picked up a new fixture from Lowes on the way, and replaced some lighting and fixed broken switches. Did a great job. Thank you very much.

You went above and beyond the call of duty right after the GTA ice storm. We bought a generator, and required immediate electrical connection, as our power/heat had been off for over 3 days at this point and the house temperature was 41F..... You were able to come over and provide both the required electrical cables and connections for temporary power, to give us power/heat via the generator until the Hydro came back on. Sure enough on Christmas Day the power came on. Although it was Christmas day you appeared by 11AM and had us back on our normal electrical panel power.

Not only did you do this at our property, but also at our income property....as we were concerned for two properties and five families. You certainly made five families very happy before and on Christmas Day.

We will highly recommend you to all who need electrical assistance.

We hired the KVA team to come in and install a number of pot lights in our master Bathroom. They informed us as to where made the most sense to put them to achieve optimal lighting in the room. Not only did KVA help us pick where they were to be placed, but they also showed us how the cheaper companies use the improper pot lights for attic space and how the other kinds can cause fires. As well, KVA also installed a new lighting concept behind our mirrors, so that at night we could see clearly without blinding light and it allowed us to see ourselves better during daytime. The work was fast, on time and above our criteria. We have already begun to pass the KVA name onto others, we strongly recommend them to anyone.
